This is a very difficult time of the year when we as parents are trying to figure out the "Summer Vacation" situation. Well the thought of a Step-Mom is to try to please everyone. We are trying to deal with our husbands, our responsibility to all of our children and the schedule of the biological mom and her family. Though our loving husbands may want to spend the warm days doing fun summery things with their children, it is very important to allow the children to express their wants and desires during the summer. Camp and other extracirricular activities are great ways to give your introverted child an opportunity for social advancement, or to hone the skills of an extroverted child.
